Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Working hours: 42.5
Salary range: From £35,000 + per annum (plus overtime)
Location: In person, base is Gosberton Risegate
Closing date: 1st February

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a tidy and meticulous electrician with solar experience, willing to become a team player within our friendly company. We are hoping to find an approachable and polite communicator, potentially interested in future promotion within our growing business.

Your day to day responsibilities?

  • PV installations and Electrical installations in both domestic and commercial environments in-line with our company values (Workmanship – Trust – Expertise).
  • Installation of renewable energy solutions including Solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers, and Zero Emission Boilers.
  • Need to be comfortable working on roofs.
  • Site setup on installations.
  • Liaise with Project Manager and be the face of the company in dealing with the customer on site / report any customer feedback.
  • Ensure all H&S requirements are met and followed.
  • Testing and inspecting.
  • To understand and complete all work-related documentation / site reports accurately, including test sheets.
  • Deliver a high quality job.

 

The ideal candidate…

Our perfect candidate will have the following skills:

Essential

  • Fully qualified Electrician (2 years+ post qualification) – 18th Edition.
  • Excellent knowledge of wiring regulations and certification.
  • Ability to perform system inspection & testing to BS 7671, commissioning, and handover.
  • Experience in the renewables/energy sector (practical knowledge of modules, inverters, DC wiring and monitoring systems. City & Guild 2372/2399 or NICEIC Solar PV would be preferred.
  • Knowledgeable with site H&S requirements and understand current legislation.
  • Fault finding skills essential.
  • Proactive, problem solver and self-starter.
  • Co-operative, customer focused, positive attitude and a team player.
  • Keen to mentor junior members of staff in line with the company standards and expectations.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Adaptable and flexible – will need to work flexible hours and overtime to meet deadlines / callouts.
  • Full Clean UK driving licence

  • Trailer licence
